Pan Yi, PhD, director of Terahertz Radiation and Detection Research Center of SITTI. Graduated from Changchun University of Science and Technology in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in optoelectronics, then entered the University of Liverpool, UK, obtained Master degree, researched on ultra-short pulse laser processing technology. In 2015, he received Ph.D. from University of Bath, UK, in 2013, focused on terahertz time-domain spectroscopy and near-field imaging devices. Then in 2013 to 2015 worked at the University of Durham to carry out 2DEGGaAs terahertz imaging devices and terahertz micro-optics direction of the study. In 2016 Dr. Pan joined SITTI, his current research direction is the infrared terahertz spectrometer development, including Fourier transform spectrometer and all-fiber terahertz spectrometer.
