Dr. Qi Chunchao

Qi Chunchao, doctor, senior engineer, Shenzhen High-level Talent, director of Sub-THz Body Scanner Department. He received a doctorate in optical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2010. Since 2007 he has been committed to the field of terahertz light source, quasi-optical components, semiconductor carrier life diagnosis, terahertz spectroscopy and imaging, excimer lasers and other key issues.

He has been involved in Huazhong University of Science and Technology Wuhan National Key Laboratory of Photoelectric Fund, a major national security project 973. Dr. Qi obtained a single pulse energy 1.35mJ, frequency 3.33THz terahertz laser output in the first national experiment. In 2010 he worked in the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Optoelectronics, participated in the national "Eleventh Five-Year" major science and technology project (subject: 20W 4kHz ArF exposure light source, fund 2009ZX02206): very large scale integrated circuit manufacturing equipment and complete sets of special (20W), high repetition rate (4kHz), narrow linewidth (10pm) 193nm ArF excimer laser light source, and put forward a new method for the design, deployment and implementation of the ArF excimer laser light source using two different Response frequency of the energy meter test 4kHz high repetition of the laser energy of the test ideas to solve the high-frequency laser energy can not accurately test the technical problems. On October 2014 Dr. Qi accessed to Shenzhen High-level Talent Honor.

In 2015, Dr. Qi Chunchao joined Shenzhen Terahertz Institute of Science and Technology Innovation. He is leading the team to engage in R & D activities in Sub-THz Body Scanner, Terahertz Spectrum and Imaging, Terahertz Nondestructive Testing and other fields. At present, he is the expert of Shenzhen Science and Technology Expert Committee, the expert of project appraisal of Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the government procurement expert of Shenzhen Finance Committee, the expert of Ministry of Science and Technology, and the member of American Optical Society (OSA).
